No. Everything is 100% confidential. MTA operates independently — we do not report to employers, contractors, or union leadership. Seeking help will never affect your job, benefits, or standing.
No. All MTA services are completely free for union members and their families — the helpline, treatment placement, family programs, workforce reintegration, everything.
That's okay. You don't need a diagnosis to call. If something feels off — stress, drinking more than usual, anxiety on the jobsite — just call and talk. That's what we're here for.
Yes. Our Family Momentum program provides counseling, peer support groups, stabilization funds, and workshops for spouses, children, and parents affected by a loved one's addiction or mental health challenges.
It depends on your situation. Treatment can range from 30-day programs to longer-term care. We work with you to find the right fit and support you through every step — including the return to work.
